Junior Conveyancer

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic junior conveyancer to develop their skills with a reputable and highly regarded law firm within their leading property practice.

With the support of specialist property lawyers and other experienced conveyancers, you will gain exposure to a diverse range of conveyancing matters across residential sale and purchases, subdivisions and larger scale property developments.  

Duties

• preparation of documents including contracts of sale, settlement statements, vendor’s statements
• preparation of matters for settlement including calculating settlement figures and statement of adjustments
• conducting company and property searches
• file and email management 
• client liaison
• coordinating and booking settlements 

Skills & Experience

To be considered for this role, you will have recently completed your Advanced Diploma of Conveyancing or currently a junior conveyancer or a conveyancing assistant. Property legal assistants who are keen on becoming a Conveyancer are also encouraged to apply. 

Overall, you will have strong attention to detail, enjoy working in a fast paced environment and show a keen desire to take the next step in your career and be proactive to take on additional duties as they arise!
