The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity for a motivated Legal Assistant who enjoys variety, fast-paced work, and being trusted with real responsibility. Provide fundamental day-to-day support to an award winning Partner and their tight-knit Workplace Relations team.
Gain exposure to high-level business and government department matters involving workplace health and safety, industrial relations, anti-discrimination and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end support to the Partner and team of senior lawyers
- Draft and prepare correspondence, court and tribunal documents, contracts and employment agreements
- Perform legal research and obtain material in support of a case, including medical, financial and claim records
- Assist with diary management
- Manage filing, billing, and document management
About you:
- 1-3 years experience as a Legal Assistant or Secretary (employment law experience ideal but not essential)
- Strong communication skills
- Proactive attitude
- Take pride in your attention to detail
- Enthusiasm to support a social and team environment
