Contribute to a growing mid-tier national law firm within its busy Employment & Workplace Relations team.

The Opportunity

Provide day-to-day and big picture support to a Doyle’s guide recognised Partner and their workplace relations team. Work on a variety of business and government department matters involving workplace health and safety, industrial relations, anti-discrimination and more.

Duties

  • Preparing court documents and client correspondence
  • Performing legal research and obtaining material in support of a case, including medical, financial and claim records
  • Arranging appointments, and managing diaries
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assisting with billing and financial reporting requirements 

Skills & Experience

  • At least 12 months experience as a Legal Assistant or Secretary
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills 
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • High level organisation and prioritisation 
  • Initiative and team-oriented approach
